Free Video Spec Checker for TikTok, Reels and Shorts
By the Post0 team · Updated
Short answer
Drop a video below to see whether it meets TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts limits for length, file size, shape and format. It runs in your browser, so the video is never uploaded.
What it checks
- Length against each platform’s maximum (and Instagram’s 3-second minimum).
- File size against each platform’s upload limit.
- Shape: YouTube only counts square or vertical videos as Shorts.
- File format against what TikTok and Instagram accept.
The limits come from each platform’s official API documentation. See them side by side in TikTok vs Reels vs Shorts specs, or learn how to post one video to all three at once.
Frequently asked questions
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The checker reads the file’s length, size and dimensions in your browser. Nothing is sent to Post0 or anyone else.
Why can’t it check frame rate or codec?
Browsers do not expose a video’s frame rate or codec reliably. Exporting at 30 fps with H.264 video and AAC audio works on all three platforms.
